Winter (Zima) 2008/2009

A brief  history of…

The very first winter training of  PEWEKS took place in Park Jordana last year, but I guess few people keep it in mind (we have to take into account the fact, that among us there are young people who don’t remember these days or don’t remember anything at all ;-). It’s a pity I don’t have any photos from that event, though I know there were some people taking pictures of us playing then.

Anyway…

If nobody recalls that, it doesn’t count and we can assume that first training took place last Sunday at 13 in Park Bednarskiego. I am sure  somebody will post a link to photos of this soon.

Meanwhile, I would like to give a report of what happened… Ok, there were only tough players on the field, who were not afraid of winter freezing cold and frost. First of all, let’s take our hats off to Marta, who attended a wedding the day (and night?) before, but still she was able to come and to play (and still she had that wedding hairstyle on). You could also take your hats off to me and Laura, but not necessarily, because actually the only reason we came was to show our new football shoes from Decathlon (niebieski produkt) so that everybody was jealous. There came also Loesje and Kasia who were well prepared (brought thermos of hot tea). Loesje looked like a terrorist: she was wearing a scarf on her face, because her doctor said she shouldn’t breathe the cold air (well, she shouldn’t breathe at all during winter then). Unfortunately, Laura came up with some stupid game and Loesje was winning almost all the time, shit. Oh, there was also our additional male member of a team, Jasiek, and Dominika who was a goalkeeper for a while, and Asia who was sick and therefore she was only taking some pictures of us. All guys who didn’t come – regret, regret, regret!
